Investment Thesis

A Generational Opportunity in African Energy Infrastructure

Southern Africa faces a structural energy deficit that will persist for decades. Demand is growing at 4–6% annually, driven by urbanisation, industrialisation and the electrification of transport and agriculture. Supply is constrained by ageing infrastructure, drought-affected hydro and chronic underinvestment.

Cascadia Energy is positioned to capture this opportunity through three integrated capabilities: reliable physical supply, active regional trading and long-term infrastructure investment. We are building the platform that connects the region's abundant renewable resources to its growing demand — at scale, with institutional discipline.

01

Supply

Securing and delivering reliable, competitively priced electricity to utilities, C&I off-takers and distribution companies across the SAPP region.

02

Trading

Active participation in the SAPP Day-Ahead Market and bilateral contract framework, providing liquidity and price discovery to regional participants.

03

Infrastructure

Long-term investment in generation, transmission and storage assets — building the physical backbone of Southern Africa's energy transition.

04

Finance

Structuring and mobilising development finance, project finance and institutional capital to fund the region's energy infrastructure gap.

What We Do

Four Integrated Capabilities. One Platform.

Cascadia operates across the full energy value chain — from generation investment and physical supply to active regional trading and development finance. This vertical integration is our competitive advantage.
