A utility-scale solar photovoltaic independent power producer project in Zambia's Southern Province, targeting a 25-year power purchase agreement with ZESCO and a portfolio of commercial and industrial off-takers. The project will be developed under Zambia's ERB licensing framework and financed through a combination of development finance debt and equity.

Cascadia's active cross-border wheeling and trading operation, utilising the Zambia–Zimbabwe interconnector to move power between SAPP member states. This operation provides liquidity to the SAPP Day-Ahead Market and supports bilateral supply agreements with utilities and large consumers across the corridor.

A portfolio of direct supply agreements with commercial and industrial customers in Lusaka, providing competitive electricity pricing outside the ZESCO tariff structure. Customers include manufacturing facilities, logistics hubs, data centres and large commercial properties.

A grid-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) project targeting frequency regulation, peak shaving and renewable integration services for the Zambian national grid. The project will be co-located with the Kafue Solar IPP and structured as a separate project finance vehicle.

A long-term offtake agreement targeting a portion of the generation capacity from the Kariba North Bank hydropower station, operated by ZESCO. The offtake would be structured as a bilateral contract for resale into the SAPP market and to regional utilities.

An early-stage geothermal development opportunity along the East African Rift System in Zambia's Northern Province, near the Lake Tanganyika basin. The project targets flash steam and binary cycle generation from identified hydrothermal resources. Geothermal provides 24/7 firm baseload power with a capacity factor above 90%, making it uniquely valuable for grid stability in a region dominated by variable hydro and solar. Cascadia is conducting initial resource assessment and geological surveys in partnership with regional geothermal specialists.

A green hydrogen production facility co-located with the Kafue Solar IPP, using surplus solar generation to power a 50 MW electrolyser stack. The facility will produce green hydrogen for industrial off-takers in Zambia's Copperbelt mining sector and evaluate export pathways via green ammonia conversion. The project leverages Zambia's exceptional solar resource and positions Cascadia at the frontier of Southern Africa's emerging hydrogen economy. A pre-feasibility study is underway in partnership with a European electrolyser manufacturer and a Zambian mining group.

An early-stage utility-scale solar project in Mozambique's Tete Province, targeting export into the SAPP market via the existing Mozambique–Zimbabwe–Zambia transmission corridor. The project would be developed in partnership with a local Mozambican developer and financed through international DFI debt.
